Welcome. These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the Picture Dex marketing website — the pages you're browsing now. They don't govern the Picture Dex app itself; the app has its own terms you'll agree to in the App Store and in-app. By using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

This website is operated by Directivity Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15111903, with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. In these Terms, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Directivity Ltd.

What this site is

This website is informational. It describes the Picture Dex app, shows how it works, and links out to the Apple App Store where the app is (or will be) available. We may add, change, or remove content at any time, and features described here may change before the app ships.

Acceptable use

When you use this site, please agree to a few reasonable things. You will not:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Try to break, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the site, its servers, or anything connected to it.
• Scrape, copy, or republish the site's content or design in a misleading way.
• Introduce malware, or interfere with anyone else's use of the site.
• Misrepresent your affiliation with Picture Dex.

Content, images, and intellectual property

The Picture Dex name, logo, copy, and site design are owned by us or used with permission. Please don't reuse them in ways that imply endorsement or that could confuse people.

The creature photos shown on this site are temporary placeholders used under Creative Commons licenses (mostly CC BY / CC BY-SA), each attributed to its photographer. You can see the full list of sources, authors, and licenses in our image credits. Those images belong to their respective creators and remain governed by their own licenses — our use of them here does not transfer any rights to you. We plan to replace these placeholders with the app's own artwork at launch.

Third-party links

This site links to third-party destinations, including the Apple App Store. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices. Following an external link is at your own discretion.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't promise the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information on it is complete or current. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Picture Dex and the people behind it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of (or inability to use) this website. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the site and app evolve. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date at the top. Continuing to use the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or your use of this website are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you in your country of residence.
